I'm Nobody!

I'm Nobody! Who are you?

I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us- don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.

How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog.
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!

-Emily Dickinson

I have heard that before but never knew who it was.

Will you be nobody with me?

I'm nobody too! I dance in the streets and ask for your hat so I can photograph myself in it. I sit on penny fountain and throw a penny in and pick it out to throw it back. I run down the street singing songs no one els knows. I throw my cares to the highest building and run for my life like nothing els mattered.

I'm nobody.

Are you, nobody, too?

Will you be friends with me and be nobodies?

Sorry. That is a lovely poem! I never heard the whole thing before.

Thanks MJ!

Hey guys my friend Lauren wants to join our blogging circle too, but she need an invitation to Lucy, Lindy, Emily, and Village Square to be able to comment there and stuff. I'll give you guys her e-mail if you could please send her an invitation?

You know Sam, there's nothing wrong with liking someone's biggest hit, even if everyone else likes it. Rugged individualism only goes so far.

Glad you like it, Sam.

Okay, time for a new post.

Oh, and thanks so much for commenting!
